By the time she was age 25 she was married with 3 kids and working full time. She also started full-time college when her husband up and left them! Struggling to support herself and her family and thinking that things couldn't get any worse she also received the traumatic diagnosis of Lupus, a complex auto-immune disorder, which she thought would be the end of her! Rather than a death sentence this diagnosis became Melanie's Life sentence. In search of Joy she began to make different choices: rather than choosing what others wanted, Melanie started choosing what She wanted! And this was the beginning of her creating the life she truly desired.
