Salt Lake City, UT -- (SBWire) -- 06/09/2016 --Warehouse Mobile Solutions, the leader in logistics solutions, was selected as Anchor 3PL's supplier to implement its state-of-the-art tablet directed, barcode & order fulfillment solution, WarehouseOS. To better serve its growing base of ecommerce fulfillment clients and ensure same day order fulfillment, Anchor 3PL expanded its distribution center designed by Warehouse Mobile Solutions. This highly efficient expansion enables Anchor 3PL to support a rapidly expanding customer base of ecommerce fulfillment clients.

Anchor 3PL was faced with the challenge to implement a system capable of receiving, storing, and shipping ecommerce orders for over 20,000 unique items in less than a week. To meet this challenge Warehouse Mobile Solutions configured and installed a storage and picking system dedicated to handle products with tablet computers mounted in a quick connect enclosure, swappable between the mobile picking carts on the warehouse floor, for product slotting, replenishment, picking, and order verification.

Additionally, Anchor 3PL integrated the tablet direct software with its host, 3PL central system to track and manage the internet fulfillment center inventory utilizing the powerful Inventory Module. This add-on module allows operators to store inventory in random locations to maximize storage capacity while at the same time substantially minimize put-away times often associated with directed put-away.

Anchor 3PL is an industry trusted full service warehousing and logistics company specializing in hazmat/chemical, food grade, dry goods and routing guide prep for big box fulfillment strategically located for timely distribution throughout the western United States.

About WarehouseOS
The RF gun, constant verifications, small keypads, and hard to read screens are quickly becoming yesterday's technology. Tablets are replacing the RF gun. WarehouseOS, a new tablet-based Warehouse Operations System brings warehouses into the future today. Warehouse management systems have been around for a long time with too many companies still using the RF gun to conduct inventory management, scan in new items, and pick orders. The RF gun solutions typically cost double what modern solutions offer. WarehouseOS and associated apps have been developed to make everything about the warehouse easier and better. Apps allow small or large companies to receive products, manage inventory, perform cycle counting, conduct single picks or do batch picking, verify items picked and pack them into boxes.

An easy to navigate user interface means warehouse personnel need almost no training before performing warehouse tasks. Receiving, put-away, picking, and packaging quickly become the easiest jobs on the floor. A team of experts in material handling equipment and solutions developed WarehouseOS to maximize the throughput of warehousing and distributing facilities. From small eCommerce, to high volume SKU facilities, from omni-channel companies to FMCG (fast moving consumer goods), WarehouseOS is equipped to handle everything. From small startups with simple needs to complex, large distribution centers, WarehouseOS is the table solution which enables manufacturers and distribution centers to be a step ahead of the competition.
