A number of the national medical linen rental and laundry provider's locations throughout the United States have veteran associates; some of them have as many as four. Recognition events at these locations ranged from celebratory gatherings around various types of food to providing gift bags and specially-designed sweatshirts to the local veterans.
The Corporate office invited a veteran, currently a police officer, to come in and speak about his experiences in the United States Marines. Associates viewed informational slides about the Department of Defense, and they were able to ask the presenter questions. Then, the presenter as well as the office's veteran associate were presented with their sweatshirts.
Other locations celebrated in different ways. The ImageFIRST Atlanta team made up gift bags for their veteran associates, while the North Carolina team held a special Veterans Day breakfast for all of their associates. The Dallas team celebrated by providing their team with red, white, and blue individual bags of popcorn, and also posted a list of associates with family members that served, which was framed and viewable for everyone. Finally, the ImageFIRST Los Angeles team created shadow boxes for their four veterans, which they presented during a lunch that featured the vets' favorite foods.
