Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWire) -- 09/28/2017 --ImageFIRST, a provider of medical laundry services and linen products like hospital scrubs in Penn Hills, PA, recently took part in a day of service for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware County. A group of associates from the ImageFIRST Corporate Office volunteered their time on Friday, August 18th to help organize, clean, and landscape for several of Habitat for Humanity's ReStore thrift shops.

The charity's affiliate location in Montgomery County has been building, rehabilitating, and repairing homes in the area for more than 27 years. Habitat for Humanity also creates and supports local and regional partnerships with companies and other organizations. These collaborations encourage participation from the community while promoting the revitalization of entire neighborhoods.

In addition to their efforts centered around building and revitalization, Habitat for Humanity also runs ReStore discount home improvement stores. ImageFIRST volunteers from the Corporate Office helped two of these stores with chores and projects essential to their daily operation, such as organizing shelves, landscaping storefronts, transporting supplies and furniture, and unpacking, organizing, and pricing donations.

In this same spirit of community service, the provider of scrub uniforms in Pittsburgh, PA, will hold their annual Community Giving Day on Friday, September 29th. Participating ImageFIRST locations throughout the country will dedicate an entire day to volunteering at a non-profit organization of their choice. This year, the Corporate Office will volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia.
