Pune, India -- (SBWire) -- 05/05/2016 --Autonebula had an exclusive Connected Transport Startup Meetup in collaboration with NVIDIA. Over 40+ startups, investors and OEMs top Executives attended the event, where in startups pitched their ideas and valuable jury feedback provided to startups.

The event witnessed a turnout of more than 100+ delegates and with more than 20+ startups pitching their unique business ideas that contribute to an efficient smart transportation ecosystem in India. The meetup took place at the NVIDIA office in Bangalore on 29th April, 2016.

The meetup event kicked off at 10:00AM with opening remarks by Sanjay Puri, Founder of AutoNebula, who spoke on how AutoNebula will soon be at the gravity of connected transport. He is extremely committed in this mission to ensure AutoNebula becomes a gatekeeper for all emerging startups in connected transport and continues to bring value through guiding startups in deal negotiations, pitch and focused accelerator programs. Mr. Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director, NVIDIA South Asia delivered the key note address. He explained how NVIDIA started its journey as a gaming solutions provider and has now transformed itself into a company that provides cutting edge technologies that touch human life. He gave a very informative talk on NVIDIA's platforms which are deployed for Deep Learning, IoT and Automotive solutions. The NVIDIA DRIVE PX2, which boosts IQ of Self-Driving Cars With World's First In-Car Artificial Intelligence Supercomputer was demonstrated.

Startups presented their ideas which were followed by Q&A sessions by the moderator and the audience. Overall, the event was well attended and AutoNebula plans to partner with more OEM, System Integrators to organize such events at different cities to build the Connected Transport startup eco-system in India. Few of the renowned companies that attended the meetup included Tata Motors, General Motors, Harman, TVS Motors, MapmyIndia, Utilis etc.

With the success of the Bangalore Start-up Meetup, AutoNebula looks forward to the next event with greater visibility and outreach on a larger scale. The next Connected Transport Startup Meetup, Delhi is scheduled for 4th June, 2016.
