Candler, NC -- (SBWire) -- 03/20/2014 --The full form of GMO is Genetically Modified Organism. Country Chef has taken a completely natural approach to their sauces. Currently they offer the following flavor profiles: Original, Hickory Smoke, Honey, Chipolte, Sweet and Spicy, Mustard and Jalapeno. Their initial goal is to reach 35k so they can bring 2 flavors into the marketplace. However, the company’s ultimate goal is to reach 150k to have the ability to bring all 7 of our current flavors fully into the market. This covers all required shipping costs as well as all the offered rewards and the shipping.

Country Chef employs a third party food processor to manufacture and package the company's product for sale and distribution to retail customers via traditional brick and mortar store formats as well as via the internet and for wholesale distribution to the food service in industry. Country Chef plans to begin selling its products in manageable regional markets throughout the United States, utilizing both retail and future commercial Foodservice Distributors.

Currently, Country Chef is using a traditional hand-pack style manufacturing plant. They can manufacture about 125 (12 count) cases per 8 hour shift. Because of their partnership with BCU, Country Chef needs to move into a modern manufacturing facility so they can handle the shear volume. The manufacturing company that they're going to move up to can produce roughly 10 cases per minute on a fully automated packaging line. They need money for the batch testing, upc codes, and labels.

This project will only be funded if at least$35,000 is pledged by Tue, Apr 15 2014 11:01 PM +05:30.
