New York, NY -- (SBWire) -- 02/14/2018 --Diversion Books is pleased to announce it has acquired the rights to the next book from the bestselling author and popular star of "Shark Tank," Mark Cuban. "How Any Kid Can Start a Business" is co-authored by Shaan Patel and Ian McCue, and will be released on August 14, 2018.

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, revealed his entrepreneurial streak at a young age when he sold garbage bags to his neighbors, his first step on the road to becoming a billionaire. Shaan Patel sold his Pokémon cards to his elementary school friends, and Ian McCue started selling websites.

Cuban commented, "This is a book I have wanted to write for a while, and I have really enjoyed doing it with Shaan and Ian. 'How Any Kid Can Start a Business' teaches the fundamentals of being an entrepreneur and how no idea is too crazy to be successful. Every kid can be an entrepreneur!"

Scott Waxman, CEO of Diversion Books, said, "We are excited to continue publishing Mark's books. He has always been a role model in business, and it makes sense that he wants to pass on his advice to the next generation of young sharks. By teaming up with Shaan and Ian, successful young entrepreneurs, he has the perfect author trio to create another runaway bestseller."

The book also outlines the key characteristics of a kid entrepreneur, how to set goals, anecdotes of other business leaders (like Steve Jobs), and why failure is sometimes a necessary part of the start-up journey.
