Paris, France -- (SBWire) -- 01/13/2014 --Burel is a newly created French watchmaker founded in 2012 which draws its inspiration from the nautical world. The brand became known through its first two models, the Class Yacht  and the Class Sail. The style of each is distinguished by the elegance of their faces of precious woods , which are based on boat decks.

For the beginning of the year 2014 Burel wanted to create a new model inspired by nautical instrumentation. For this new model , they decided to keep the precious nautical brand identity taken from the style and use of materials related to the nautical world . They also wanted to highlight new time piece features never before put forth by the brand.  After several months of research and development , they have arrived at a successful model.

The new Burel " CLASS CAPE " was inspired by nautical instrumentation.  It features compass graphics. Unlike a traditional watch, there are no hands . Class Cape time reading is done by a red indicator line  superimposed on gradations of a carbon disc, as on a compass of navigation. The disk rotates clockwise, the hour and minute digits are graded from right to left.

The Burel Class Cape is equipped with a mechanical Swiss ETA 6498 movement  which is reputed to be reliable and robust. The set is dressed in a black sail canvas strap. Like all Burel watches, the Class Cape has an international 2 year warranty.

To give life to the new Class Cape, the creators need funding support. This will allow them to achieve the initial production of the Class Cape. If they raise more than the original budget , they can produce a larger stock and distribute Class Cape as well as the whole range of Burel products worldwide.

This campaign will receive all funds raised even if it does not reach its goal of $15,000. Funding duration: January 08, 2014 - February 24, 2014 (11:59pm PT).
