Miami, FL -- (SBWire) -- 10/24/2017 --Florida law doesn't explicitly state anything regarding the right of way, but there are rules in place regarding when or how to yield. At a four-way stop, for example, the first driver to arrive at the stop is the one who has the right of way. If two drivers happen to make it to the stop at the same time, the driver on the right should be the one to proceed first.
All drivers should already be aware that emergency vehicles with their sirens off have the right of way always. Drivers often forget that in the case of a bus, if it needs to merge back into traffic, the driver is required to give the bus the right of way. All drivers, as well as bike riders and pedestrians, must always yield to a funeral procession.
