Framingham, MA -- (SBWire) -- 03/26/2014 --Laurel & Carrie are sister-in-laws who put their heads together and created a humorous, illustrated book of quirky anecdotes on motherhood.
After having her second child, Laurel became a stay at home mom. A big adjustment as many may know. Although not having to pack everyone up and rush off to work each morning was nice, the lack of adult interaction was tough to take at times. Laurel began posting comical, quirky status updates on Facebook about her days at home with the kids. Some of these posts were literally, LOL funny.
Laurel & Carrie put their heads together and came up with the concept. They want to create a small book filled with Laurel's funny Facebook posts, something that other parents could relate to. The book would be easy to flip through, make a great gift and, most of all, it would make people laugh. The book is colorfully illustrated by Framingham State University student Sara Capello and the graphic design was done by Addy Fulmer of TPI Solutions Ink in Waltham, MA.
The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to self-publish the book "The Quirky Confessions: Days in the Life of a Stay at Home Mom" and spread a bit of laughter to stressed out parents and caregivers everywhere.
The $5,500 that Laurel & Carrie are hoping to raise will go towards the printing and binding of this funny, fantastically illustrated and colorfully designed soft-cover book. The book is a 62 page, 6" x 6" perfect bound book.
This project will only be funded if at least $5,500 is pledged by Sat, Apr 19 2014 1:03 AM +05:30.
