Leeds, England -- (SBWire) -- 10/26/2016 --Cancer Research UK have just called for checks on junk food advertising and also a sugar tax after the latest Scottish Health Survey highlighted the fact that in Scotland today a worryingly 15% of kids are obese and a further 13% were heavier than they should be. In addition to this the report showed that children with obese parents are more likely to be overweight.
Another thing which was equally as terrifying to discover was that between children ages 2-15 only a tiny 12% ate the recommended five-a-day. This report has really shocked many, with many families already choosing to reevaluate their lifestyles and food choices.
A spokesperson from industry renowned hydroponics suppliers, Leeds Hydro Store was keen to comment saying, "This data is actually scary and something needs to be done drastically to turn things around. We know that we can't help everyone, but we do believe that for those children simply refuse to eat vegetables under the impression that they're boring – hydroponics could present a solution. We have already sold masses of hydroponics equipment to parents whose children have found hydroponics fun and exciting and really changed their views."
