Palmer Trinity School Welcomes Valorie Baker as Director of Auxiliary Programs

Palmer Trinity School (PTS) is pleased to announce the addition of Valorie Baker as Director of Auxiliary Programs.

Palmetto Bay, FL -- (SBWire) -- 11/06/2015 --Baker will be responsible for designing, marketing and supervising innovative programs and activities that support PTS's mission. She will work closely and collaborate with the School's athletic, academic, fine arts, and operations teams to develop programming that will provide enriching and educational experiences for its students.

"We are excited to be welcoming Val to the Palmer Trinity community. This is a newly created role, and Val will be developing new opportunities for our students as well as enhancing our existing signature programs," stated Patrick Roberts, Head of School.

Baker was most recently Director of External Affairs and Community Relations, and the K-8 Athletic Director for Louisville Collegiate School in Louisville, Kentucky. She has also held the position of Director of Counseling and Student Support Services at Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Head Volleyball Coach at Wake Forest University, and director of Beaches Volleyball Academy where she was also the owner.

Baker holds a bachelor's degree in speech communications, with minors in art and business, from Eastern Kentucky University. She also has a Master of Education in counseling psychology from the University of Louisville. Baker is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA); the American School Counselor Association (ASCA); the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A); and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
