Naples, FL -- (SBWire) -- 09/27/2016 --The awards keep on flowing for The Club at Mediterra, this time for a prominent member of their staff: Rob Anderson. Mr. Anderson was recently announced as the recipient of the 2016 Merchandiser of the Year Award from the South Florida PGA branch. Fresh off their Distinguished Emerald Club Member accolade, the Club will celebrate their newest award winner along with other award winners at the Annual Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner on November 15, hosted at Grey Oaks Country Club.
"The South Florida PGA Merchandiser of the Year award is by far the highest honor bestowed upon me in my career as a PGA Professional, and it is with great pride and excitement that I will share it with the PGA Professionals, teammates, and Club Members that have both inspired and supported me so much," said Rob Anderson.
For many years the team at the Club at Mediterra has strived to enhance the members' experience. Most notably, they offer a full time fitter to members to handle all equipment needs. The club fitter has more than doubled equipment sales in the past four years, bringing experience and expertise to the members' fitting experience. Anderson and his staff had made it a priority for their shop to be a welcoming environment with a unique presentation. The merchandising team has worked hard to attend to the needs of the members, including keeping track of shoppers tendencies in order to notify them when specific sizes or styles come in.
Mediterra offers an array of lifestyle amenities, including The Club at Mediterra, featuring 36 holes of golf, and the private 10,000-square-foot Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico, featuring an elevated swimming pool, casual dining with a full bar and valet service for beach chairs, umbrellas and beverage and food menus. The living community features single-family estate homes and single-family maintenance-free villas.
