Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire -- (SBWire) -- 08/09/2011 --Aran Services, who are one of the sponsors of the Green House project, will be joining us for our ‘Information Day’ on Saturday 30th July. Specialists in solar system, Aran kindly supplied, fitted and contributed towards the Photovoltaic (PV) panels on the south facing lower roof of the St Ives property.

Aran will be on hand throughout the information day to provide expert advice and information on solar systems, heat pumps and internal/external insulation. They will be bringing their ‘Solar’ van which will demonstrate how the panels work, the costs, the practicalities and pay-backs you can expect from a PV system.

Aran Services are dedicated in providing householders with cost effective energy efficiency solutions that reduce household running costs and carbon dioxide emissions.

The systems they supply and install really do make a difference and can save you money.

For example letting your roof work for you by installing Solar Photovoltaic (PV) could generate as much as £44,375 in savings and income over the 25 year fixed FIT period. The Feed in Tariff recently introduced by the government means that your energy supplier will pay you a generous amount for fitting solar panels to your roof.

Or why not let the sun heat up your water? Installing solar thermal to your roof can provide up to 70% of your annual hot water.

Aran specialise in the integration of the systems mentioned and are members of the Micro Generation Certification Scheme (MCD), Renewable Energy Assurance Limited (REAL) and the Renewable Energy Installation Guarantee Agency (REIGA).

They also provide Air source heating, Solid Wall insulation and Grant funded Loft and Cavity Wall Insulation.

The savings are quoted from the Energy Saving Trust website. PV savings are based on a standard 4kWp system with a south facing 30°C roof.
