Vampire Wedding Comic Mini Series & Film: Taking over the World Has Never Been So Much Fun

The life of a Wedding Planner is anything but ordinary, especially if vampires are on a mission to take over the world

Canterbury Place, London -- (SBWire) --11/14/2011 --Life can be full of surprises sometimes; at Castalides Pictures they know it well and bore it in mind when they created the character of Sophia Heartfield.

After all, what could ever happen to an ordinary girl who works as a successful wedding planner?

To deal with a demanding boss, grooms and brides requires super-patience, not superpowers.

To organize a classy event she has to set out flowers and chairs in a smart way, not engage into fights against evil forces.

And if her boyfriend has vanished without a word it is just because he dumped her.

Nobody has kidnapped him: at worst another girl may have kidnapped his heart. Right?

Wrong. Sophia will find herself and her friends involved in an epic fight against a malicious conspiracy plotted by evil Angelyne Argyle and her vampire followers to take over the world to recapture her lost fame and glitzy career.

With the help of photographer Paula and florist Raymond, Sophia will jump to rescue her fiance, to ruin Angelyne's evil plan and save the world from impending doom.

This is fiction, but there is also something way more real: the chance for aspiring vampires to play one.

In fact Castalides Pictures has launched the very first cross media global vampire casting campaign, THE VAMPIRE WEDDING CASTING COMPETITION, by using Facebook, Twitter YouTube, iPhone and Android APPs to cast them.

Worldwide aspiring vampires have the chance to be immortalised in the comic mini-series or/and in the movie Vampire Wedding posting their photo on the VW Facebook fan page http://www.facebook.com/vampirewedding or a reel on either the Facebook page or the YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/vampirewedding

The initiative has been a success since its launch, with almost 4000 likes on the Facebook fan page and hundreds of contestants from all around the world uploading their photos and mini-movies on the Vampire Wedding FB page.

To allow aspiring vampires to learn about the Vampire Wedding characters, Castalides Pictures has launched a teaser trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlUvJH5KZ70&noredirect=1
