Ahmedabad, Gujarat -- (SBWire) -- 12/14/2011 --Events in Maharashtra:
RE/MAX organized a seminar titled “Start your own business today – Real estate broking” at Juhu Jagruti Hall, Mumbai on 15th November 2011 and at MCCIA Hall, Pune on 21stNovember 2011. This seminar revolved around fundamentals of entrepreneurship and tips on how to run a successful real estate broking business. It is a natural desire to start a real estate franchise and take advantage of small business opportunities as it sounds like easy and fast money—after all, you just need to bring the buyer and seller together. If it were so easy, all property brokers and property agents would be successful Real Estate Entrepreneurs.
The Indian real estate market is set to become one of the largest and fastest growing sectors in the next decade. On one hand, people are enthusiastic about American and European investors turning to India to invest in real estate, but on the other hand, local property brokers and agents are still working in an unorganized real estate industry in India.
The speakers rightly pointed out that the real estate sector is slowly but surely getting organized, just like all other sectors of the Indian economy and they enlightened the audience on how to see opportunities amidst challenges. A brief introduction on the RE/MAX model and international best practices in real estate was also shared in the seminar.
Further, the speakers emphasized the fact that a budding entrepreneur should always have a vision to be successful in any field. They taught Entrepreneurial Skills (to run a successful business one needs certain skills like leadership, innovation, and risk taking ability), Real Estate Knowledge (market trends, best practices in property transactions, competitors), Business Plan (key aspects that need to be taken care of to successfully grow a business globally), Resources for Small Business (what facilities are needed and how to optimize them) and last but not the least Customer Expectations and Behaviour (the current and future trends of how customers will demand broking services).
The event got a very good response from the invitees who were from varied backgrounds such as CEOs, managers and executives looking to enter the Real Estate Broking business as entrepreneurs, existing Real Estate Professionals looking to scale up their business, freshers in the Property and Real Estate Industry and many more.
The featured speakers were:
Aashil Patel: Entrepreneur, Regional Director of RE/MAX Maharashtra-Gujarat-Mumbai. He has done his LLB and been involved with the Real Estate Industry for last few years. He also has his own wealth management services company Madhuvan Securities Ltd. His expert sense of doing business and knack of getting things done is fundamental to the growing business of RE/MAX in the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Sahil Shah (ABR, CRS, TRC, CIPS, MBA): Regional Manager of RE/MAX Maharashtra–Gujarat-Mumbai. Sahil has undergone several certifications in Real Estate from international trainers and is also trained to provide real estate training for international certifications. Event in Gujarat:
RE/MAX Gujarat organized an event on 23rd November, 2011 at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), Ahmedabad, on how people from the property broking industry can “Grow business through networking” successfully. The participants learnt about the best practices in property dealing from the World’s Largest Real Estate Broking Company. Guidelines on how one can work more productively and earn substantially more than an average broker were provided. Around 80 participants attended the seminar and got valuable insights from the experienced speakers.
The discussion also focused on the RE/MAX experience. It touched on “How one can grow as an individual” and does not need any stroke of luck. “Will power and hard work are sufficient to achieve something.” And that made a significant difference. The idea behind the seminar was to Explore, Benchmark and Network with like minded people in the real estate brokerage sector.
Best practices evolved by RE/MAX’s 38 year experience of working in 84 countries were portrayed and compared with demands of Indian customers.
