Dubai, UAE -- (SBWire) -- 04/03/2012 --The Dutch are the tallest people in Europe, have the largest flower garden in the world and have over 1000 windmills! Dutch is the official language of six countries including the Netherlands. Being closely related to German and English, it is an easier language to learn for English speakers. Eton institute, UAE’s largest language training centre, is offering a free Dutch language course for the month of April, to familiarise the community with the culture, etiquette and the Dutch way of life.
Learn how to interpret the magical works of Vicent Van Gogh or converse in the native language when visiting Amsterdam this summer. The Dutch are famous for being great linguists, and it is true that most people also speak English, so you can certainly get by on a short visit.
However, there are plenty of signs which only appear in Dutch, and even a limited knowledge of the language will help you to get around. And because not that many foreigners learn Dutch, if you give it a go, your efforts will be particularly well-received!
Moaz Khan, Marketing Manager at Eton Institute says, “We don’t realize how much the Dutch have contributed to our world. In art, through Van Gogh, in entertainment through Armin Van Buuren, one of the top Dj’s in the world, in architecture through projects such as ‘The Palm Jumeirah’ and ‘The World’ and in business through success stories such as ABN-Amro, consumer giant UniLever and electronics giant Philips. It goes to show how beneficial it would be for anyone to learn Dutch, not just for personal reasons but also for professional reasons. The culture and language have so much to offer.”
The free Dutch course will run from 13th April to 5th May 2012 as part of Eton Institute’s CSR initiative to bring communities closer and connecting people, through languages. The Institute offers a free course every month in featured languages, which are filled almost instantly by language enthusiasts. The classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays from 3.00pm to 4.30pm.
Details about the registration will be announced only through the Institute's Facebook and Twitter pages to its fans and followers.
Interested people are encouraged to join Eton Institute on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/EtonInstitute or Twitter http://www.twitter.com/EtonInstitute to receive updates about when and how they can enrol for the free course.
