Orlando, FL -- (SBWire) -- 12/22/2009 -- UNITS Mobile Storage Gives Back to Central Florida Community Zoo
Orlando Franchise Contributes Mobile Storage Unit for Annual Electronics Recycling Drive
UNITS Mobile Storage of Orlando has donated a 16’ UNITS brand mobile storage unit to support the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens’ annual electronics recycling drive. The donation is a part of ongoing philanthropic efforts in the Seminole County community.
This year, the electronics recycling drive will take place from December 28th, 2009 to January 10th, 2010. There will be two collection sites available on Zoo property. The primary collection site will be located at the Community Recycling Station next to the Rainforest Pavilion. Units Mobile Storage of Orlando has donated a sizeable container for the collection of larger electronics only. This unmanned storage unit will be open to the public from 9 am to 4 pm each day during the two week event.
A second site will be located inside the admissions ticket office where they will only collect smaller electronics. Event staff will be offering coupons for a free bag of popcorn and medium drink at this specific location for participants who are recycling small electronics. Participants will receive one coupon for each device they donate to the cause.
“We are proud to have the opportunity to give back to our community and join our partners the Central Florida Zoo, Keep Seminole Beautiful, and ARI Recycling in an effort to improve our local environment” says Chris Gates, Units of Orlando franchisee. “This donation to the annual recycling drive will go a long way to help organize and store all the old electronics provided by the residents and businesses of Seminole County.”
