Of the opportunity Team Owner Kevin Doran states “Dion has shown us a lot in just a short time in the Dallara. We know he has a lot of ability and great feedback, but equally important is his interaction with the team, his co-driver Memo, media, and the fans. We know we have a good set up for Barber coming up next weekend and are looking forward to see what Dion and Memo can accomplish there.”
"I am really excited to finally have some consistency at the top level of GRAND-AM Racing, and especially to do it with Doran Racing is the result of a lot of hard work for a lot of people, not just myself,” said von Moltke. "In racing, chemistry between engineers and teammates is vital and that is one of the key advantages that I have found with Doran Racing: Memo and I have a great relationship and we have fun dealing with the challenges of a race program on any given weekend. Barber Motorsports Park is one race we are especially excited about, the Dallara works really well around there so watch out for the #77 McDonalds/South African Airways/PR Newswire Ford Dallara!"
