Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWire) -- 07/14/2015 --On June 20th, 2015 Molestice—the annual block party + music festival for the summer solstice—returned to the 100 block of N. Mole Street for a day of live music, food and community. And community it was. Over 1,500 Philadelphians, Mole Street neighbors, families, tourists (and even wedding guests) gathered for the 30-year tradition.
The day was sunny and beautiful and music could be heard from some of the best emerging musicians of the region, booked by Mole Street's talent buyer, Sean Timmons. Performances included musical artists such as Woodro Skillson, Effie Liu, Brian LaPann, Kuf Knotz Band, New Sweden, Ill Fated Natives, Gooch and The Motion and The White Cheddar Boys.
The streets were filled with the delicious aromas from KAMI and Poi Dog Snack Shop food trucks, and the coolers were filled with craft gin and vodka from Pennsylvania's local Manatawny Still Works. Rock On Philly was the official media sponsor of the festival.
The annual block party + music festival was produced by the marketing agency of Philadelphia, Mole Street, and the agency continues to work behind the scenes of some of Philadelphia's most anticipated events of 2015 to provide professional event planning, quality entertainment as well as design and advertising services.
Molestice will return next year on June 25th, 2016 with a new, exciting lineup of emerging artists.
