Toyota brand passenger car sales were up 8.3 percent while light truck sales were up 29.5 percent. The new Corolla led the pack with just over 20,000 units sold; the Camry and Camry Hybrid weren’t too far behind it. The Prius, Toyota’s mid-size gas-electric hybrid also showed a 25.4% increase from last year. The RAV4 was the big seller in the light truck segment.
