The Country Club Assistant Clubhouse Manager Scott Ninemeier, CCM Receives Accreditation

Norton, MA -- (SBWire) -- 03/15/2011 -- Scott Ninemeier, CCM, Assistant Clubhouse Manager of The Country Club in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and Member of the New England Club Managers Association (NECMA) has been accredited with the "Certified Club Manager" (CCM) designation by the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA).

Mr. Ninemeier was approved by the Certification Committee of CMAA after successfully passing a certification examination. He joins more than 1,000 club managers worldwide who have attained this hallmark of professionalism.

Mr. Ninemeier qualified for the CCM examination as a result of fulfilling specific requirements in club management experiences, education and Association activity. The CCM examination contains nine specific areas, including private club administration, marketing, food and beverage operations and sports management. The exam is prepared and administered under the direction of the CMAA Certification Committee at various college and university campuses across the country.

Since 1965, the Certified Club Manager designation has been the cornerstone of CMAA’s member recognition program and is widely respected as an indication of a club manager’s commitment to professional development and the industry.

Mr. Ninemeier joined CMAA in 2006 and first started at The Country Club as an intern in 2004. He has been in the role of Assistant Clubhouse Manager for three years.
