Ocoee, FL -- (SBWire) -- 04/13/2011 -- White Glove Services LLC (WGS) and West Orange Habitat for Humanity (WOHFH) jointly announce the donation of a Butler for a Year to the Patrick and Becky Corcoran family, the 2010 recipient of WOHFH “Home At Last” program which provides a new home to a qualified disabled veteran. The home for the Corcoran family will be dedicated on Saturday, June 4th in Oakland.
“We are pleased with this gracious and generous donation. I know the Corcorans will benefit greatly” states Bill Criswell, creator of the Home at Last program. “Ms. Einmo approached us in February regarding her desire to donate to the 2011 program, but when I learned what she had to offer I knew the Corcorans were a great fit especially since they are new to the area and could really use a support system.”
Debi Einmo, President and Chief Butler of WGS commented “It is an honor to provide assistance to such a warm, caring and genuine family and it will be our pleasure to assist them in any way possible. We have discussed the need for butlers to monitor deliveries, arrange for installations, provide housekeeping and to care for the saline therapy pool. We will also assist in running errands and transporting family members. In a nutshell, we will take care of the little things so they can focus on the more important things in their lives.”
About Home at Last
A special project of the WOHFH, a 501(C) (3) nonprofit organization, Home At Last was the idea of William (Bill) C. Criswell, a World War II veteran of the U.S. Naval Construction Battalion. The WOHFH established the project in 2007 to meet the special housing needs of permanently disabled combat wounded veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns. The project’s goal is to build new homes each year for veterans seriously wounded in the Iraq and Afghanistan military campaigns. The projects are completed entirely by donations and in-kind contributions of construction labor and materials.
