Brooklyn, NY -- (SBWire) -- 06/17/2011 --Graphic t-shirt design company nopooh announces that it will donate all proceeds from sales of t-shirts worn by celebrities in attendance at the MTV Movie Awards Connected Gift Suite to the charity of their choice for one month, through July 13th. Almost everyone in attendance participated, including Erin Murphy, Kevin Sorbo, Brad Sherwood, and Luenelle Campbell, to help promote the launch of nopooh’s new line of superhero tees. Proceeds will be going to over 30 charities, including the Wounded Warrior Project, the Special Olympics, the SPCA, Autism Speaks, and the Boys & Girls Club, with several celebrities choosing the Red Cross for their charity.
Note: Over 30 celebrities were rocking our Skyman Planet Comics tee, so proceeds from this t-shirt will continue to be donated to the celebrities’ chosen charities for over three years.
The new superhero t-shirts celebrate the comic book superheroes of the 1930s and 40s with homages to the art and styles of that era by graphic designer Rob Tanner. With the MTV Movie Award promotion, nopooh continues the superhero tradition of giving back to the less fortunate and encourages others to do the same in their everyday lives. The full list of celebrities and their charities, with pictures, can be seen here.
