Guangzhou, Guangdong -- (SBWire) -- 06/27/2011 --According to CCM’s June Issue of Herbicides China News, it is reported that with aggressive behavior and effort, in the first quarter of 2011, Jiangsu Changqing Agrochemical Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu Changqing) still kept smooth development after three consecutive years of growth in performance (2008-2010). Based on Jiangsu Changqing's report, its net profit and revenue increased by 13.17% and 25.61% year on year to USD4.58 million and USD35.5 million respectively in the first quarter of 2011. (Please refer to Herbicides China News 1104 for Jiangsu Changqing's 2010 performance.)
As explained by Jiangsu Changqing, the growth in net profit and revenue in Q1 2011 was mainly attributed to increasing incomes in sales, stock and subsidy as well as decreasing expense. On this developing track, it's predicted that the company could witness another growth of 30% year on year in net profit in H1 2011, according to Jiangsu Changqing's Q1 2011 report.
Especially pointed out by Jiangsu Changqing, the released IPO project of 500t/a clethodim will become its another profit growth point in 2011. With excellent characteristics of clethodim, such as high activity and low residual, Jiangsu Changqing believes that clethodim owns large market potential in domestic market where clethodim competition is not so intense. Included in Jiangsu Changqing's IPO projects, this 500t/a clethodim construction was launched successfully at the beginning of April 2011. According to the former report in Herbicides China News 1104, Jiangsu Changqing had supplied clethodim products to the market since March 2011. Being produced into mother liquid or formulation for sale, as introduced by a salesman from Jiangsu Changqing, clethodim technical (converted to 100% AI) is priced at USD29,000/t at present.
With company construction pushed forward continuously, Jiangsu Changqing's other IPO projects such as the herbicide projects for 1,200t/a fomesafen and 300t/a nicosulfuron will be launched one by one in the coming months. It means that Jiangsu Changqing's product structure and production capacity will be enhanced further.
Aiming to run production and sales smoothly, Jiangsu Changqing establishes subsidiaries to take over the corresponding businesses. At present, a new subsidiary named Jiangsu Jinfeng Agrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu Jinfeng) has being built after Jiangsu Changqing Agrochemical Trade Co., Ltd. was set up in Aug. 2010. According to the relative proposal, Jiangsu Jinfeng will be located as planned in Rudong Yangkou Chemical Industry Park, which is near Shanghai for convenient transportation.
The June Issue of Herbicides China News also indicates that Jiangsu Changqing plans to establish a group network around the coastal areas, implying that Jiangsu Changqing considers overseas market as important as domestic one. In fact, Jiangsu Changqing's business distribution in 2010 achieved an average between domestic and overseas markets, with domestic and overseas revenue taking up almost 50% of the total respectively. According to the company's strategy described in its 2010 annual report, Jiangsu Changqing will insists on focusing on domestic and overseas markets in 2011.
