Research Proves That Walking Does in Fact Improve Creativity

Rishton, Lancashire -- (SBWire) -- 04/26/2016 --Researches at Stanford have found that during or immediately after walking people perform better on creative divergent thinking tests. Whether walking outside, on a treadmill or staring at a wall – walking had a positive impact and can therefore be seen as a key way to improve creativity.

This however, isn't new news for some. For centuries great thinkers have been known to walk, and pace around, Charles Dickens for instance waked 30 miles every day and Friedrich Nietzsche once said "All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking."

Due to the results of this study, it is now impossible for anyone to argue otherwise; therefore it is now more important than ever that everyone takes regular breaks from their jobs to walk. After all, this in the long run will lead to better work – especially for those who work in office environments or similar jobs where the majority of time spend it seated.

Bevlan are frequent commentators on industry news and a spokesperson had this to say:

"It is so important that people who work in office environments take time to walk throughout their days, even if they simply walk up and down the stairs every hour. In addition to walking there is also height adjustable and free standing desk options available for staff members that prefer not to be seated for long periods of time."
