This year's cause for the Dragon Boat Festival was the food pantries of the Bucks County Housing Group, located Penndel, Doylestown and Milford Square. Dr. Sitapara and the Signature Medicine group showed their support for the charity by racing with "Team Namaste", in which they altogether raised over $3,000 for the cause.
The festival is sponsored by St. Mary Medical Center - a leading healthcare facility at which Dr. Sitapara serves on several committees - as well as the Bucks County Dragon Boat Association (BCDBA) and the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation. Competing along with Team Namaste, Signature Medicine won first place in the St. Mary's division, which included teams from various affiliates.
