Atlanta, GA -- (SBWire) -- 03/18/2014 --The Insanity Workout program creator and fitness trainer Shaun T is now making the workout schedule and calendar available for free download to let people know what to expect from the program.

The calendar and schedule can be downloaded for free on the website SOCCERONAUT.com.

The intense fitness routine it complements is spread over a course of 9 weeks and the calendar is meant to be used along with the DVD.

Shaun Thompson (popularly known as Shaun T) is a choreographer and fitness trainer who has also created the Hip Hop Abs home fitness program. The Insanity series of workouts introduce a method of exercising during which strenuous workouts of 3 to 4 minutes is followed by 30 seconds of cooling down. While it is no means an easy workout regime, it has become popular with highly motivated people that are willing to put in the hard work it requires to achieve the body that they want.

The Workout Calendar lists the various types of exercises that are to be performed over the course of the 2 months of the program. Users can mark off each day as they complete the day's scheduled exercises.

The Insanity Workout Schedule and calendar can be downloaded here at the socceronaut.com website. It comes in two parts, including the Workout Calendar and a Fitness and Measurement Tracker (also known as the Fit Test).

The program begins in the first week with a Fit Test on the first day. The Fit Test schedule recommends a series of exercises like Switch Kicks, Power Jacks, Power Knees, Power Jumps, Globe Jumps, Suicide Jumps, Push-Up Jacks and Low Plank Obliques to be performed with as many reps as possible. The free downloadable Fit Test chart illustrates each of these exercises for easy reference. Users of the chart can note how many of each exercise they were able to perform.

The Fitness Measurement chart also includes columns to note measurements of chest, biceps, waist, hips etc. throughout the course of the program to help evaluate the progress made.

The calendar continues to list the exercises to be carried out through the first month. Exercises recommended for the month include Plyometric Cardio Circuit, Cardio Power & Resistance, Cardio Recovery, Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs.

After four weeks, which include 4 rest days and 2 fit test days, a Recovery Week is allowed. Throughout this week there are 6 days of Core Cardio and Balance exercises followed by a day of rest.

The next four weeks recommend an entirely different set of exercises for each day. These include Max Interval Circuit training, Max Interval Plyo, Max Cardio Conditioning, Max Recovery and Cardio Abs. Similar to the first month, the second month also include 3 fit test days and 3 days of rest.

Users of the Deluxe package of the program are advised to replace the Cardio Abs training with Insane Abs and the Core Cardio and Balance training with Max Interval Sports Training.

The Insanity Workout Schedule and Calendar is meant to keep the user motivated throughout the program by allowing them to note and evaluate their progress and achieve their goals quicker. The schedule, calendar and Fit Test sheets are available in the PDF format to allow users to print them for easy reference.

The regimen designers recommend that users who are new to the program should be prepared for intense workouts. The exercises themselves are not especially long – lasting between 30 to 45 minutes. According to Shaun T, this makes it easy for people with busy schedules to still benefit from the intense workouts. However, because of the high intensity training, proper warming up to avoid injuries is highly recommended.

Shaun T also recommends that each day's schedule for the 9 weeks be followed exactly as they are drawn out in the calendar. Each individual exercise for the day has been created based on the previous day's exercise for maximum benefits and recovery.

People that can sustain the intense routine are expected to see great results. However, because the routines are high impact and more rigorous than other such programs, those that are not motivated enough may be tempted to drop out before the course is through. The free calendar and schedule works as a diary to provide a solution to this problem. Just as keeping a daily diet diary has found to help with sticking to a diet plan, the calendar and schedule is designed to help people stay driven throughout the program.
