Earley, England -- (SBWire) -- 11/03/2015 --Recent reports have revealed that more than £2 billion has already been invested in the motoring industry in 2015. A new forecast report launched by The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has predicted that the UK is on course to break manufacturing records by the end of the decade. Since 2008, the UK has had a car roll off production lines every 20 seconds on average and fuelling the production is the demand for British manufactured cars overseas.
Car exports now constitute 11.8% of Britain's total exports andit's predicted to rise. Last year exports contributed approximately £24.6 billion to the UK economy and with figures rising, there has never been a better time for businesses to get involved in exporting cars and related equipment. The motoring industry is now the UK's largest export market and the demand is continually increasing from emerging markets abroad, especially in Africa.
Countries with particular interest in British cars and parts are Kenya and Nigeria. Getting cars exported far and wide for businesses that are new to the market need a service they can rely on. A transportation service who are used to making long distance journeys for the motor industry are Uneek Group.
They have been helping UK businesses and investors ship cars and parts to Africa for a number of years. A spokesperson for the group was keen to comment on the growing demand for British cars: "The continuing growth of the UK export market is incredible. UK car production stalled for a long time after countries like Japan, Germany and Italy excelled in making desirable vehicles, but the fact that British production is booming again is great. We provide all the means to export the cars and parts and ensure they get there in good condition as they leave the country in the safest of hands."
