Alpharetta, GA -- (SBWire) -- 02/12/2016 --ZCorum announced today that A10 Networks is joining them at the NCTC Winter Educational Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, February 15 and 16. The two companies will be in ZCorum's booth #309 at the Technology Showcase - discussing ways cable operators can make an orderly transition from IPv4 to IPv6. The solution leverages the A10 Networks Thunderâ„¢ line of Carrier Grade Networking (CGN) products, allowing operators to extend the life of their IPv4 network with Carrier Grade NAT (CGNAT), while also providing several options for migrating to IPv6.

With the recent depletion of IPv4 addresses, broadband providers are looking for ways to preserve and leverage their existing IPv4 addresses so they can properly plan and execute a move to IPv6. The collaboration between the two companies allows ZCorum to offer the A10 Networks Thunder CGN solution to broadband providers like those who will be at the NCTC show. ZCorum and A10 Networks already presented a webinar on IPv6 transition for NCTC members in September 2015.
"A10 is pleased to work together with ZCorum to offer customers an option to address IPv4 exhaustion and a migration path to IPv6 to ensure continued growth and connectivity with the Internet," said Kirsten Lee Young, Vice President of Worldwide Channels at A10 Networks. "We're looking forward to speaking with NCTC members about the various options for making a smooth transition to IPv6."
"We're teaming up with A10 Networks because they deliver a robust solution for IPv6 migration in a cost-effective footprint," said Arthur Skinner, Vice President of World Wide Sales at ZCorum. "This collaboration allows us to provide our customers with a proven solution to bridge the gap between their existing IPv4 infrastructure and new IPv6 networks."
ZCorum will exhibit in booth #309 at the NCTC Winter Education Conference February 15 and 16 in Phoenix, Arizona.
