It is a unique academic model based on an integrated trans-disciplinary approach that harmoniously amalgamates design with technology on a solid foundation of liberal education.
Avantika's learning pedagogy stresses upon HOW to learn and not WHAT to learn for the students. With a project-based methodology, Avantika aspirants will be offered with a direct opportunity to identify real-life problems and create workable solutions. Beginning 2017, Avantika will offer bachelor and master degree programs in design. An MIT Pune initiative, Avantika University is guided and mentored by eminent educationist Dr Sanjay Dhande - Former Director IIT Kanpur and is supported by a team of passionate design & engineering professionals and academicians.
Each session at Avantika will require a pre-class work for students to understand and explore the concept, with classroom assistance that offers interactive learning. At Avantika, the student performance will be a combination of pre-class, in-class and post-class activities. Internship and projects will be a major component of Avantika's academic learning.
This university is backed by a 50-acre state-of-art green campus at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh and will provide the much-needed excellence push in higher education. The admission applications at Avantika University will open from September 2016.
