Become a Sponsor of the Isabella Santos Foundation's 9th Annual 5K/10K for Kids Cancer

Waxhaw, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/26/2016 -- Earlier this year, The Isabella Santos Foundation, a nonprofit based in Charlotte, NC that raises awareness and funds for neuroblastoma research, announced the date of its upcoming annual 5K/10K and Fun Run. The event will take place on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 at Ballantyne Corporate Park in Charlotte, NC. The Foundation is proud to announce that this fun-filled day of activities and entertainment will be sponsored by MetLife, and that there is still time for local organizations to become sponsors of the race.

The Isabella Santos Foundation was created in memory of Isabella Santos, who battled neuroblastoma, a form of cancer, for most of her young life. Although Isabella passed away in 2012, the Foundation continues to fight for children like her and find a cure for childhood cancer. Now in its 9th year, the Foundation's annual neuroblastoma 5K has raised over $1,000,000 towards cancer research, thanks to the participation of thousands of runners as well as the support of sponsors.

Currently, the Isabella Santos Foundation is accepting sponsors at the Platinum, Gold, Siler and Bronze levels. Each level of sponsorship is an excellent way for organizations and businesses to get wide exposure within the Charlotte, NC community and participate in a cause that is fighting childhood cancer one step at a time. Now through May 31st, sponsors who sign up and pay in full by that date will receive a ten percent discount. Contact Karen Laughton at Karen@isabellasantosfoundation.com to learn more or sign up to become a sponsor.

Spots are also available for participants in the 10K/5K and Fun Run. Visit http://www.isabellasantosfoundation.com/ to learn more.
