Launch of new mobile-friendly website is celebrated with accompanying seasonal specials, Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas reports
Tamarindo, Cosa Rica -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/04/2014 -- Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas, a luxury getaway in Costa Rica, today announced the launch of its new website. This site is more user-friendly than its previous incarnation, and now includes responsive design that makes it easy to use with mobile devices. To celebrate the launch, the resort has announced several limited-time specials for summer break travelers and those who book early for the high season.
The Summer Break Special will be a hit for yoga fans. It offers a free yoga class every day during guests' stay, and to make the experience truly special, the setting for the yoga is in a covered outdoor studio "surrounded by tropical flora." Those who book by the end of August for travel before November 30th, on the other hand, will find that a different deal awaits them: The Best Value Package. This package includes accommodations for three nights, daily breakfast, a two-hour surf lesson, free calls to the USA from the reception desk, free yoga classes, and free Wi-Fi.
"We believe these specials and packages are great ways to introduce people to the Cala Luna Beach Hotel & Villas," said Federico Pilurzu of Cala Luna. "Many people who come for a short trip end up returning for a Costa Rica beach honeymoon or simply to enjoy another vacation."
One of the biggest tourism draws for Costa Rica is its beautiful tropical environment. To help preserve this resource, Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas has implemented a number of eco-friendly practices. "We use food that has been locally grown so that there is less packaging to get rid of and fewer emissions related to the transportation of the produce," said Pilurzu. "We also avoid adding restaurant waste, eggshells, and other food items to the garbage dump. Instead, we send these materials to a nearby farm, where they are used as animal feed or crop fertilizer. Any extra food waste is added to our own compost piles, which are used on our garden."
These are just some of the eco-friendly practices done by the resort. It turns out that it is so eco-friendly that plenty of wildlife proliferates there, including sea turtles, ants, and other creatures normal for the Costa Rican shoreline. The resort also makes sure to keep its nighttime lighting to a minimum. This helps preserve normal animal behaviors, but guests will find that the stunning view of the starry night sky is even more interesting to see. Without light pollution interfering with the view, the sky appears to be blanketed in stars.
