Lancaster, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/18/2019 -- Campus Eye Center, a leading eye care practice in Lancaster County, is excited to announce that it will be providing two educational lectures at the Lancaster County Optometric Association's first meeting of 2019.
On Monday, April 29, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Campus Eye Center will provide 2 hours of continuing education at VisionCorps in Lancaster. During this catered event, Campus Eye Center doctors will cover two different lecture topics. The first will be presented by Lee Klombers, M.D., and will discuss swollen nerves and what the O.D. needs to know prior to sending patients for M.D./Neuro-Ophthalmology referral. The second lecture will be presented by both Klombers and Kathryn Andrews, O.D., F.A.A.O., and will touch on streamlined co-management for surgical and non-surgical strabismus and amblyopia. Klombers and Andrews will also review the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG) studies and other topics during this lecture.
"At Campus Eye, it's our mission to not only continuously educate ourselves, but share knowledge with our colleagues in the field—and the general public, as well, on the importance of quality eye care," says Practice Manager, Peter Murdock. "Being able to meet and discuss more specific topics with other professionals and experts is invaluable, and we're looking forward to these lectures with the Lancaster County Optometric Association."
