Well, look no further than City Tap House DC this summer and fall as they are pleased to announce the last three events of their 2015 European Vacation Series. City Tap House DC's European Vacation Series is comprised of a total of four different beer events, all of which are hosted from mid-July until the first week of October.
On Wednesday, August 12, the restaurant will be travelling to England and serving up brews from Weird Beard Brew Co., Pressure Drop Brewing, Wild Beer Company, Wells Eagle and Brew By Numbers Brewery. This event will begin immediately when the restaurant opens at 11:30 AM, and will end when they close at midnight.
Come Thursday, September 3, and starting at 11:30 AM, the restaurant will be travelling to Belgium and featuring craft beers from Alvinne, Ichtegems and De Dolle. Additionally, those in the mood for some waffles will find no lack of them that Thursday. In fact, the restaurant will have three new waffles available, one of which is a Belgian Chocolate Waffle that comes with Peanut Butter Maple Syrup and Banana Gelato.
Finally, in October, the restaurant will be making a 4-day stop in Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest with their "City Tap Haus" event that will start Thursday, October 1, and conclude on Sunday, October 4. Those who attend the restaurant any of these four days should be aware that only German beers will be on draft. Also, aside from changing their taps over German beers, the restaurant will have German food specials available from 5:00 PM until 11:00 PM.
