New Market Research Report: Luxury Accessories in the Netherlands
During the review period, sales of luxury accessories generated modest growth, increasing by only 2% in current value terms. While sales registered healthy growth at the beginning, the economic slowdown in 2009 led to decline in sales, with sluggish recuperation ever since. In 2012, sales remained positive but were still affected by a shift in demand towards less expensive products as more Dutch consumers chose to restrict purchases of luxury items.
