Organic Packaged Food in India - New Market Report
Organic products continued to grow sales in India in 2012. There were two reasons for the gains: first, increasing health consciousness through the country, making people question what they are consuming and its consequences. Naturally healthy and organic foods were the natural gainers of this trend. Second, supermarkets and hypermarkets displayed and pushed organic products as a key unique selling point to their consumers. Both trends gave the vital visibility and in-vogue push for sales.
