Japanese Knotweed is widely recognised as one of the most invasive plants in the UK and has achieved national coverage in the press, being named as "The Plant That Ate Britain". Traditionally the winter months are the time that the knotweed regresses from view; however mild British winters can cause the plant to continue to spread with damaging consequences for home owners, landlords and property developers.
