Gurgaon, Haryana -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/01/2014 -- Disney is planning a new addition to do at their night time shows at Disneyland. They plan use drones to create flying aerial displays, fly projection screens and string puppets.
Disney has applied for three drone related patents to be used in their theme parks. The patents disclose next gen entertainment plans of Walt Disney Imagineering.

-20140231590 - Aerial display system with marionettes articulated and supported by airborne devices
The first patent describes an aerial display system, with drones choreographed to form displays of flying pixels (or "flixels"). A flexil is basically a drone with a light emitting payload. A large number of flixels are used to create characters and animate them in an aerial display.
The second patent uses drones to fly and position flexible projection screens on which light could be reflected above a crowd.
In addition, the third patent, manipulates string puppets.
