Norristown, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/16/2014 -- By enrolling in the Adopt-an-Animal program at the zoo, individuals and families can provide funding that benefits the care for their favorite animal. As a special promotion, the Elmwood Park Zoo is announcing they are offering 30% off their adoption packages throughout the month of October. There are various packages, each including a photo, certificate, fact sheet of the chosen animal, car decal, email updates, and recognition on the website. As the benefits of each package increases, so too does the price.
When looking for things to do in the Philadelphia area, take a group to Elmwood Park Zoo and enroll in the group adoption package. Requiring a minimum of 15 people, this package is available for just $105 through the month of October. Included in the package are coupons for a free child entry at the zoo, discounted group admission rate, and a bookmark for each member of the group.
For individual adoption packages, individuals can become a ZooParent to connect with their favorite animals. Whether choosing a bronze package, silver, gold, or platinum, all packages recognize adoption support for one year. Donations will help the Elmwood Park Zoo purchase toys and treats, as well food. ZooParent’s can deduct a portion of their donations come tax season.
With the 30% off, there is a $300 savings on the platinum package—the zoo’s largest package. After a platinum adoption, individuals will receive four zoo passes, a guided zoo tour with eight people, their name displayed at the exhibit, and a personal meet and greet with the animal.
There is plenty of fun to be had at the Elmwood Park Zoo, and when looking for things to do near Philadelphia, the adoption offers a unique opportunity to show love and support for the animals. To hear more about the program, or to inquire on pricing, please contact the zoo today.
