Norristown, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/16/2018 -- Elmwood Park Zoo, home of ziplines for kids in Chester County, PA, and surrounding areas, is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a Party for the Planet event this April. The annual eco-celebration features live entertainment, an Earth Expo with participating vendors, and raffles for goodies that guests can take home.
On Saturday, April 21, 2018, men, women, and children can celebrate Earth Day at Elmwood Park Zoo's Party for the Planet event, which will take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. This event is The Association of Zoos and Aquariums' signature Earth Day celebration as well as the largest combined celebration in North America.
This year's ZooBowl Theater Schedule for the event includes:
- Insectarium - 10:10 a.m.
- EPZ educational animal program - 12:30 p.m.
- Kids' Fitness Demo from The Gym & Tan Line - 1:30 p.m.
- 21+1 Good Deeds Challenge from Super Heroes of Service - 2:30 p.m.
Participants of this year's event include but is not limited to American Association of Zoo Keepers, ACRE Windows, David Brothers Landscaping Services, KIND, Metro PCS, Power Crunch Protein, The Energy Co-op, and Yak Fish.
