Norristown, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/28/2014 -- On Sunday, September 14, from 12 PM to 3:30 PM Elmwood Park Zoo will host its annual Oktoberfest beer tasting festival. Guests will be able to stroll the Zoo while sampling unique and delicious beers from dozens of local and national breweries. Elmwood Park Zoo’s Oktoberfest is easily one of the best things to do in the Philadelphia area.

Elmwood Park Zoo’s Oktoberfest also features live entertainment, including performances by The Regan Brothers Band, and music from DJ George Gibson.
The Zoo’s animal and education staffs will make a number of live animal presentations throughout the day. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with keepers and learn about some of the Zoo’s newest animal exhibits.
Guests can purchase food from the Zoo’s Food Truck partners, Local 215 and Chewy’s. VIP ticket holders will receive complimentary all-you-can-eat food provided by Ralph’s of South Philly. VIP ticket holders also receive access to a special VIP area featuring a special selection of beers.
Admission to Elmwood Park Zoo’s Oktoberfest is available by advance sale only. Ticket prices are $40 per person and $15 per person for designated drivers.
VIP tickets cost $75 per person and $25 per VIP designated driver.

Oktoberfest is a rain or shine event, 21 and over only. Elmwood Park Zoo will be closed to regular Zoo admission on Sunday, September 14.
