In 2012, value growth rose significantly to 12% as a result of higher demand from fast food outlets and also rising unit prices. AFH value sales were boosted by the growing number of cafes, pubs, and fast food/takeaway outlets in the big cities. Owing to increased consumer awareness of and interest in better hygienic conditions, restaurants and various food services outlets have raised cleanliness standards. As a result, more outlets provided AFH napkins to clients as a point of reassurance.
