Recent Study: Grocery Retailers in Lithuania
The recovering economy positively contributed to the performance of the channel in 2014. Retailers, which sought to benefit from increasing purchasing power, tried to adapt to changing consumer behaviour and invest huge sums of money to store renovations, expansion and opening of the new ones. In addition, an announcement of the exact date of discount store Lidl's entrance to Lithuanian retailing encouraged leading players to implement changes which boosted sales of grocery retailers in 2014.
