Global Silver Mining to 2020; New Report Launched
Publisher estimates global silver production at 936 million ounces in 2014, up by 2.7% from 2013. Global reserves as of January 2015 were 529,900 tonnes (t), with four countries accounting for 65.3% of the total: Peru (98,900t) Australia (85,000t), Poland (85,000t) and Chile (77,000t). The remainder is found China (43,000t), Mexico (37,000t), the US (25,000t), Bolivia (22,000t) and Canada (7,000t).
