Wettest December Since Records Began Results in New Year Clean-Up for Businesses
The Met Office has recently released figures highlighting that December 2015 was the wettest month in the UK since 1910: the time when such records began. The month was filled with flood warnings and a number of storms, now named as Desmond, Eva and Frank. Strong winds and high levels of rain characterized much of the conditions, leading to widespread flooding.
