The primary mode of propanil's herbicidal movement towards weeds is inhibition of their photosynthesis and CO2 fixation. Flora photosynthesizes in two levels. In stage I, photosynthetic reactions capture daylight electricity and yield molecules with high strength content. In level II, these molecules react to capture CO2, yielding carbohydrate precursors.
