This project is about the first retail-ready, self-contained, all in one portable misting system.
Riverside, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/27/2014 -- Mist'R Bucket transforms the most hostile environments into cool and comfortable escapes. It utilizes the water atomization technology, which is considered to be the most efficient and cost effective method of reducing outdoor temperatures up to 25 degrees. Mist'R Bucket can be used anywhere. Once charged, the users are only required to add water and select their level of mist. As an added benefit, the mist produced blocks dust, pollen, and flying insects such as flies, gnats, and mosquitoes.
Taking a product such as Mist'R Bucket from concept, through design, engineering and ultimately to manufacturing, is a costly proposition. Global Misting Systems entertained the idea of bringing in outside investors to help offset some of the costs. After meeting with a few, they quickly realized the potential impact this would have on their company as a whole. Fact being, that investors are almost always purely profit driven and attempt to apply, the more common business model of "profit over people" which Global Misting Systems does not subscribe to. This is the reason they decided to utilize Kickstarter as an opportunity to grow the company as organically as possible.
All funds raised through Kickstarter will be spent on
Finalizing Design Specs: The performance of each component of the final prototype will be tested and evaluated, both individually and collectively. The performance data collected from these tests will be used to finalize the design specs of the Mist'R Bucket.
Tooling: There are approximately 8 specialized molds, both rotary and injection needed for the assembly of the Mist'R Bucket. These molds are key to the manufacturing and must be tooled to exacting standards and are by far the most costly part of this project with a price in excess of 100k
Certifications: A UL certification of the Mist'R Bucket is required. The UL is a mandatory safety certification for retail product of this classification. The cost of this certification ranges from 30k-50k.
Legal: The finalizing of both domestic and international patents. In addition the drafting of instruction manuals and other legal literature.
This project will only be funded if at least $250,000 is pledged by Fri, Apr 25 2014 11:26 PM +05:30.
