Hydroponics Is at the Forefront of Light-Food Fusion: Grown Up Hydroponics Comments

Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/23/2016 -- Hydroponics could be seen as helping with important research into the best growing conditions for commercial crops, following a series of experiments in America; revealing just how important it is for the future of food. It was Suntech Greenhouses Ltd and owner Bob Mitchell who decided to install blue, red and bright light emitting diodes (LEDs) when growing tomatoes in an indoor hydroponics farm. It was found that these LED lights affected different tomato types differently with some such as grape tomatoes increasing in growth, whilst bigger fruits such as beefsteaks did not endure. This shows that hydroponics is offering a way to learn more about and experiment growing food with greater efficiency; something Grown Up Hydroponics was keen to comment on.

After all, hydroponics is a method where plentiful progress has already been made over the years. This includes unlocking the ability to boost growth and ensure bigger yields, as well as introducing the best formulations of nutrients. Grown Up Hydroponics are prime providers of a range of hydroponics equipment and take pride in recognizing the ability of hydroponics to put new discoveries at the forefront of food production. A spokesperson had this to say:

"Not only does hydroponics have high yields when it comes to plant growth – after all, users can expect bigger blooms and boosted yields with this soil-light method – but it yields scientific discovery too. That's why further important progress is expected to be made with hydroponics systems - especially so growers can achieve the ideal nutrient and light combinations for their plants. We offer a wide variety here at Grown Up Hydroponics."
