The theme of this year's Community Giving Day was "Lend a Hand, Make an Impact." Associates from ImageFIRST locations across the United States volunteered at a local nonprofit organization of their choosing.
The Miami location of ImageFIRST decided to volunteer with Rescue Mission Broward Outreach Centers, which offers programs to homeless men, women and children in the Miami, FL, area who have suffered from drug addiction and domestic violence. ImageFIRST Miami associates organized donated items and assisted with general housekeeping tasks.
Malu Perez-Corcho, Human Resources Generalist at ImageFIRST Miami, said that associates who participated in ImageFIRST Miami's Community Giving Day activities "enjoyed coming together as a big family and helping the community."
